The evidence problem is landing on your machine
Your customers are being asked to prove what happened to each device, one at a time. Right now they solve that beside your machine, with a handheld and a spreadsheet.

Capture beside the machine is a gap in the machine
A drive is scanned at a bench, carried across the floor, and destroyed minutes or hours later. The record says a device was destroyed. What it actually evidences is that a device was scanned and then carried away.
Your customer knows that gap exists. So does their auditor. Closing it means capture happening at the point of destruction — which is your machine, not a bench.
What this is worth on your side
- A machine that produces the evidence, rather than one that needs a second system beside it.
- A compliance answer written into the spec sheet, at a moment when the standard your customers cite has just been rewritten around per-item records.
- A reason for an operator to specify your machine over one that leaves them to solve it.
- No tie to us commercially — the capture is vendor neutral by design, and that is the point below.
What we supply, and what you build
We supply the unit that does the work: the camera and the computing that reads the label, identifies the serial and writes the record. We do not supply a mount.
- Supplied — the capture unit and the software on it.
- Not supplied — bracket, enclosure, mounting hardware, power routing.
- For you this is a design detail at the drawing stage. For an operator retrofitting one, it is a fabrication job.
That split is deliberate. A mount designed around one frame fits one frame. Leaving it out is what lets the same unit go onto any machine — including, frankly, your competitor's. We would rather be neutral and useful than exclusive and narrow.
It is in build, and that is the offer
The mounting, the interface and how the record leaves the machine are being worked out with manufacturers rather than decided in advance.
Come in now and those decisions are shaped around your machine and your customers. That is worth more to you than arriving after they are made.
Talk to us about your machine
Tell us what you build, how your customers use it, and what they are being asked for. We will tell you honestly where this is and what integrating it would involve.
