Deleting your account
Two ways to do it, and a plain account of what goes and what stays.
In effect from 29 August 2026
In the app
Open Settings, then Account, then Delete account. Confirm, and the request is made immediately.
Deleting an organization's account deletes it for everyone in that organization, not only for you. If you are one of several people using it and only want your own access removed, ask an administrator to remove you instead.
By email
Write to [email protected] from the address on the account and ask for it to be deleted. We will confirm, and you do not need the app installed.
We ask you to write from the account address because it is the simplest proof that the request is yours. If you no longer have access to it, tell us and we will find another way to establish it.
What is deleted
Everything tied to your organization, within 30 days of the request:
Your scanning sessions, the photographs taken during them, and the serial numbers read from them. Your certificates and manifests. Your account and organization records, including your email address. Your billing profile with us.
Images are also removed from our machine-learning training set within 24 hours of the request, whether or not they were previously marked for exclusion.
What is kept, and why
Two things survive deletion, and it is worth being straight about them.
Diagnostic and analytics data is kept for up to 90 days from when it was recorded and is then reduced to aggregate counts. It is not tied to a named person, and it cannot be picked back out of the aggregate once rolled up.
Records we are required to keep by law — chiefly billing and tax records held by our payment processor — are kept for the period the law sets. That is out of our hands and applies to any business you buy from.
How long it takes
The account stops working immediately. The data behind it is removed within 30 days, including from backups as they roll forward.
Write to [email protected] if you need confirmation once it is done, and we will send it.
If you only want one record gone
You do not have to delete the whole account. Ask us to remove a specific session or a specific device record and we will, without touching the rest.
Consider what that does to a certificate you have already issued: the evidence behind a line on it is the reason the line holds up. Deleting it is your decision to make, and worth making deliberately.
